If after viewing the images in our galleries, which are regularly being updated, you can still not find extactly what we you are looking for, then drop us a line or give John a ring, explain what you are looking for and we will examine the 10,000 plus images we have in stock and available and get back to you.
One request we commonly get asked for is to assist a client in creating a custom made package of images. To get this process under way just get in touch with us, explain what you are looking for and we will examine all the images we have in stock, and get back to you. Nothing could simpler, this also free's up your very valuable time.
We currently use Canon equipment which includes the Eos 1Ds MK III and the Eos 1D MK IV along with a series of "L" lens's ranging from 15mm f2.8 to 500mm f4 and accessories.
Following images being coverted from a "Raw" and corrected wherever necassary all our images are dispatched on an extremely high quality recordable CD or DVD along with an appropriate contact sheets. Low resolution images/contact sheets can be transmitted to you via email if requested.
Images are finalised in accordance with the clients specification, but generally speaking we output to either Jpeg or Tiff and at 300DPI
All images are uninterpolated unless alternatively instructed by the client.
All digital files captured, converted and manipulated by the staff of "Fotographic Images" are handled as follows:
Capture in "Raw", Instantly backed up, Handled in 16 bit later to be converted to 8 bit, Colour space = Adobe 1998 RGB, No sharpening is applied. Client spec's can always be accommodated.
For digital control, manipulation, and image management we use "Apple Mac's" and:
Aperture 3, Adobe Photoshop CS4, Nik Software including; Dfine 2.0, Sharpener Pro 2.0, Silver Efex Pro, Viveza, Colour Efex Pro 3.0, OnOne Plug-In Suite 5 including; Genuine Fractals, Mask Pro, Focal Point, Photo Tune, Photo Tools and PhotoFrame.
The imaging computers at Fotographic Images are regularly checked with the aid of the "XRite" spiders and Macbeth colour calibration systems.
All printes are outputted on an in-house Epson Pro 4800, using Epson inks, papers by Epson, Innova and Somerset and Canvas's by Innova.
