Oxford Scientific Films

Oxford Scientific Films (OSF) an international image stock agency who have numerous offices based in various exotic locations around the globe have recently agreed to represent an exclusive selection of my natural history work.

This not only provides me with a much greater stage to present my work on but also associates me with some of the worlds finest natural history photographers, am I chuffed, you bet I am.

I have already started to prepare a large selection of my work which include images mainly from the UK and supported with some of my African and Falklands images. Believe you me this is quite a time consuming process to say the very least. Here is a brief summary of the workflow involved, all images must be Raw and provide a non-interpolated image of no less than a 40Mb file, Choose only extremely high quality images which they do not already have or have very few similars, Convert to Tiff, Adjust where necessary - keeping all adjustment to an absolute minimum, despot, and no sharpening. Provide a very accurate metadata including titles, keywording, camera and location info.

Following this very time consuming exercise and all this work and more is complete, send them in to OSF for QC checking and for possible acceptance.

Once your images have been accepted and uploaded to their company site, all that is left is the small matter of the hopefully selling the images.
