Hi Everyone.
First of all please accept my apologise for this newsletter being virtually a complete repeat of my December 2010 edition, only I have been made aware of the fact that there was a serious problem when emailing my previous edition.
I can't believe that it's this time of year again. It doesn't seem five minutes ago since I was writing a similar newsletter, except it was "January 2010".
Well 2010 has been a really good year for us with a very variable workload; I would really like to thank all of you who have helped to make this possible.
Last year contained a few memorable moments, perhaps in some cases, some more memorable than others!! I include in this both the new attendees to our courses and workshops as well as those of you who have once again returned for another good days photography and fun.
As well as the courses and workshops once again being a roaring success, we have also managed to acquire a number of new corporate clients, some of which have really helped in expanding my environmental work.
You may also be pleased to know that at long last my communications handling has now moved into the 21st century, do I hear you say "at last"!! I have recently moved to using a "Blackberry" and can therefore now receive phone calls, texts and of course emails, all whilst sitting comfortably in a hide. However if it's a toss up between dealing with a message or getting the shot, you will have to wait, but don't worry and please be rest assured, I will always get back to you a.s.a.p.
2011 Plans:
Courses:
This year we will be once again running some of the more popular courses, which will include:
1) "Basic Digital Manipulation and Image Management".
2) "Intermediate Digital Manipulation".
(Both of the above courses are held in a private IT suit where all attendees have their own PC).
3) "Say No To Auto - How to Move Off P&A". [Programme & Auto].
4) "How to Improve Your Camera Technique".
(Both course numbers 3&4 are run both inside and outside).
Following each course full notes will be emailed to all attendees.
Workshops:
At present I am still working on finalising some of these events especially the new workshops we have never run before. As soon as everything is sorted an announcement will be made on my website and emails will be sent out to everyone who has registered a no obligation interest.
1) "Birds of Prey". Throughout 2010, this was without question our most popular workshop.
2) "Waterfalls". In one day we will visit West Yorkshires three most beautiful waterfalls.
3) "Flower Photography". We will have exclusive access to a flora & fauna area of one of the Northwest’s finest garden centre's.
4) "Visit a Sea Bird Colony" This visit will be made during the period of the chicks being born; this guarantees photo opportunities like you will have never experienced before.
On all of our workshops you will be guaranteed a fun packed day receiving tuition from a fully professional natural history and wildlife photographer.
Please check the "Courses & Workshops" page on our website

I am expecting some really good snowy shots. Full details will be available on our website, the "Workshop" page for full details, and the "Gallery" to view the winning pictures.
