Who are John & Carol?

For further information about who John & Carol are, where they come from and what they do, please see the About Us page.

What equipment does John use?

This is a subject which tends to raise quite a few questions and amusing banter, especially when the subject of Canon V Nikon raises its head!!  However Johns equipment primarily consists of Canon camera equipment including the 1Ds MKII, 1D MKIII lens's ranging from 16mm F2.8 to 500 F4 and the usual extenders, flash guns etc. Some of the additional equipment includes: Gitzo 1348 tripod, Arca Swiss QR ball head, Wimberley Side Kick & plates, Lowepro AW Pro Trekers and Streat & Field belt system and many little bits and pieces which are all priceless.

What course and workshops do you run?

The courses and workshops which decide to run from time to time are decided upon because of their subject popularity, for example: Birds of Prey, Flowers, Fungal, Scapes (inc landscapes and cityscapes), Getting to know your equipment and many more. However should you have a special requirement, no matter whether it is for a camera club, a corporate event, an educational organisation, or a very small group such as 1, 2, or 3 people, please contact us to discuss your special requirements. Our courses, workshops and one to one bookings make excellent gifts.

Do we supply equipment on our workshops?

No is the immediate and straight forward answer, however we will always be able to provide un-biased advice and guidance to any piece or pieces of kit you may wish to consider buying.  I would like to point out that niether John or Fotographic Images are connected in anyway with any supplier, therefore you can always rest assured that any opinion or comments which we make will be purely honest, un-biased and given as a sole independent photographer.

Are these courses & workshops also for beginners?

The courses which we organise and run all advertised in a manner which contains the subjects and or levels which the said course or courses will be presented at. However, if you are in any doubt please don't hesitate to contact us without delay.

The workshops which we run are principally organised and run for all levels of photographers and include all types of equipment ranging from film/digital compact cameras to fully pro DSLRs with a full aray of lens's. However at the time of advertising a workshop we will always try to give a guidance towards what equipment will be necassay.
