"Stealth Gear"

The Outdoor Clothing of the Future

"Stealth-Gear" is achieving a great deal of excellent reviews regarding their new range of outdoor camouflage clothing and accessories, including hides. These reviews have been written by a wide and varied selection of some of the UK’s most well respected outdoor professionals including the extremely well respected natural history and wildlife photographer "Laurie Campbell". If you have any questions or suggestions regarding this gear, please feel free to drop me a line.

Although I have been constantly wearing the suit on my outings. I feel the ultimate test of this clothing will be on my forthcoming trip to Donna Nook. I will let know how the suit and I stand up to the horrendous north sea winds, gales and tides. www.stealth-gear.com

You may have also seen an article of mine

Recently published in the most recent SWPP magazine. Obviously this article is featuring the Stealth Gear clothing.

Donna Nook Common Seal Colony.

By now I am sure quite a few of you will have already visited Donna Nook and seen one of the most wonderful sites of the natural world. The seals and new born pups. If your still going over to Donna Nook, here are a few hints, tips, and guidelines which if you haven’t been before, I thought you may find useful.

  1. Do Not get too close to either the adult seals or pups.
  2. Do Not Throw Sand at the seals to attract them to look at you.
  3. Do Not Attempt To Feed the seals.
  4. Do Not Get Between the seals and water when close to the water.
  5. Do Not Get Between the cow and the pup.
  6. Do Not Try To Touch/Stroke a seal or pup.
  7. Take Spare Batteries and memory cards.
  8. Only Change Your Lens’s when really essential. Sand will et everywhere without making it easy.
  9. Wear plenty of layers, use waterproofs, boots or wellingtons.
    10)  Last but by No Means Least.

Make a donation to the rangers which will help to maintain the site and provide an ongoing welfare policy for the seals. This can be found at the ranger station behind the wooden

fence barrier.

Finally, Have a great Christmas & an extremely happy 2010
